Trim, tighten, and tone your entire body with this ballet-inspired class combining elements of Pilates, dance, and yoga. Using a ballet bar, hand weights, and ball, you will strengthen your legs, core, and arms with high repletion, small range of motion movements and isometric contractions. This class begins with a dynamic warm up, upper body work, extensive leg and gluteal work and concludes with core and lengthening stretches. No dance experience is necessary for this energizing workout that will leave you feeling stronger, longer, and taller. Classes are traditionally done barefoot or with socks.
This is a 40-minute workout that focuses on the upper body, abdominals and core. Soul Fitness uses thoughtful progressions of movement in order to strengthen your core, improve your balance, and sculpt your upper body. Core 40 is FITsanity-themed, so that every session includes movement patterns from a variety of methods in order to target as many muscle groups as possible. Lock and load your abdominal ‘arsenal’!
An energizing, dynamic, fitness-based approach yoga. The instructor will guide you through a series of movements combining stretching, strengthening, and basic calisthenics to help you sculpt and condition your mind and body. Power yoga alternates between static holds and dynamic flows (continuous movement from one pose to the next), creating an effective workout for both beginners and experts. Appropriate for all levels, modifications and variations are encouraged to support and accommodate individual needs and experience levels.
Get lean and mean! This high performance workout is formed from true kickboxing training camp routines. Learn basic kickboxing technique and conditioning drills to increase strength, endurance and coordination. Sculpt your body by mastering the jab, power punch and other combinations. This challenging class also incorporates heavy bag drills, focus mitts and jump rope techniques, all done to high-energy music soundtracks. This high energy class is 60 minutes of kickboxing drills interspersed with plyometrics and weight training.
For those over age 55, the key to safe and productive workouts is Low-Impact, yet Functional Training (L.I.F.T.). This class covers 50 minutes and incorporates movements that carefully challenge the mind, balance, and coordination in order to strengthen and improve their function. L.I.F.T. 55+ also uses specific stability targets to facilitate recovery for those with hip, knee or other age-degenerative issues. As we at Soul Fitness like to say, this class isn’t easy, it’s just smart!
The all women fitness classes offered by Michele Messina through RAW are designed uniquely for the female form, for true feminine strength and lean muscle definition vs. bulk. Using TRX, kettlebells, and jump ropes in addition to participants’ body weight and free weights, these comprehensive fitness classes offer something new each session! Chisel is a total body conditioning workout, desired for all levels of fitness. Class will incorporate cardio elements, as well as strength and body weight elements.
Boot Camp is a high intensity class, which incorporates total body conditioning, resistance training, cardio and core elements…designed to get you maximum results.
This Les Mills class is 30-minutes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. GRIT takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.
HIFT (High Intensity Functional Training)
Are you ready to level up? Combining free weights resistance training and calisthenics, performed at a high intensity and with minimal rest, this class provides 45 minutes of calorie torching burn and full body strength building to get the results you want.
