Soul introduces a barre class fusing mind body with boot camp. This class offers high intensity body sculpting exercises with weights, balls, and resistance bands as well as rigorous barre work and cardio/plyometrics for the ultimate in physical fitness. Be prepared to feel the burn in every part of your body!
This is a 40-minute workout that focuses on the upper body, abdominals and core. Soul Fitness uses thoughtful progressions of movement in order to strengthen your core, improve your balance, and sculpt your upper body. Core 40 is FITsanity-themed, so that every session includes movement patterns from a variety of methods in order to target as many muscle groups as possible. Lock and load your abdominal ‘arsenal’!
Power yoga is an Americanized version of Ashtanga yoga. This method of yoga combines stretching, strengthening moves and basic calisthenics-type exercise. Power yoga offers continuous movement from one position to the next, creating an effective aerobic workout for both beginners and experts.
Get lean and mean! This high performance workout is formed from true boxing training camp routines. Learn basic boxing technique and conditioning drills to increase strength, endurance and coordination. Sculpt your body by mastering the jab, power punch and other combinations. This challenging class also incorporates heavy bag drills, focus mitts and jump rope techniques, all done to high-energy music soundtracks. This high energy class is 60 minutes of boxing drills interspersed with plyometrics and weight training.
Learn the basics of how to safely and effectively work out with kettlebells in Soul’s foundation class. Kettlebells offer versatility for group training, with diverse and exciting routines that can change workout to workout. Fitness with kettlebells is designed to target multiple muscle groups, burn fat, and build power all at once with one explosive workout method.
For those over age 55, the key to safe and productive workouts is Low-Impact, yet Functional Training (L.I.F.T.). This class covers 50 minutes and incorporates movements that carefully challenge the mind, balance, and coordination in order to strengthen and improve their function. L.I.F.T. 55+ also uses specific stability targets to facilitate recovery for those with hip, knee or other age-degenerative issues. As we at Soul Fitness like to say, this class isn’t easy, it’s just smart!
Tabata training is a type of high intensity interval training that follows a specific format of 20 seconds of a very high intensity exercise (e.g., sprints) and 10 seconds of rest repeated 8 times for a total of 4 minutes (1 Tabata). In this class, we strive for greatness. We push our limits and go for 10 Tabatas always accompanied by 2 abdominal Tabatas and a final stretch totaling 55 minutes of intense training.
The benefits of yoga include improved posture, circulation, breathing and flexibility. Yoga is intended primarily to restore and maintain a practitioner’s well-being, improve the body’s flexibility and vitality. Regular yoga practice can lead to increased strength, stress relief, and enhanced self-awareness. This class is open to all members and all levels of fitness.
Yoga sculpt incorporates the best of both worlds, utilizing the movements associated with yoga as well as adding resistance training with hand weights. Yoga is a great strength and flexibility workout; add weights and it becomes an express ticket to sleek, defined muscles and increased stamina. Yoga with weights is an excellent way to increase muscle mass and bone density while still retaining the mental and relaxation benefits of traditional yoga.

Using TRX, kettlebells, and jump ropes in addition to participants’ body weight and free weights, these comprehensive fitness classes offer something new each session! Chisel is a total body conditioning workout, desired for all levels of fitness. Class will incorporate cardio elements, as well as strength and body weight elements.
Boot Camp is a high intensity class, which incorporates total body conditioning, resistance training, cardio and core elements…designed to get you maximum results.
Using suspension training to leverage your own body weight against gravity, our TRX-Bootcamp is focused on helping you learn the basics of TRX. You’ll learn the fundamentals of how to do TRX safely and effectively to improve and enhance your body’s strength, endurance, stability, and overall core strength in addition to your mobility and even posture. TRX-Bootcamp is a foot-in-the-door and is available for participants of all levels of fitness.
HIFT (High Intensity Functional Training)
Are you ready to level up? Combining free weights resistance training and calisthenics, performed at a high intensity and with minimal rest, this class provides 45 minutes of calorie torching burn and full body strength building to get the results you want.
